Below are the most common asked questions, however if there is something that you wish to know that is not stated below you can contact us via telephone, email or via our contact form.
Q 1. How long does the speed dating event last? A 1. Approximately two and a half hours.
Q 2. How will I know if I get any matches? A 2. A match is when both yourself and another participant's scorecard responses are 'Yes'. For example participant number 7 ticked 'Yes' to number 10 and number 10 ticked 'Yes' to number 7. All those who get a match will be contact within 48 hours by text or E-mail with their matches first name and telephone number. This will enable them to contact each other if they wish.
Q 3. Is there a dress code? A 3. No, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. However remember that the first impressions do count in speed dating.
Q 4. Do I need to book in advance? A 4. Yes. The reason being is to ensure an equal male/female and age group ratio. Places must be paid for in advance and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
Q 5. How to I reserve my place? A 5. To reserve your place and pay with a credit or debit card click here or complete one of our Speed Dating Reservation Forms, which can be downloaded here and return with a cheque or postal order for £20.00 made payable to Face-2-Face, and post to; Face-2-Face When your reservation is received we shall make arrangements for you to attend the event as stated on your reservation form. Once arranged we shall send you a ticket.
Q 6. Can I attend more than one event? A 6. Yes. On average we would expect each new event to be filled with 85% of new participants, so each event you attend will increase your chances of finding a match.
Q 7. What is your Cancellation/Transfer Policy? A 7. We are not able to accept cancellations, as the quality and success of our event would be compromised by an uneven ratio of males/females. However, if you are able to provide us with at least 5 days notice by contacting us via telephone 0191 549 0773, we will do our best to move you to another Face-2-Face event. If we are unable to move you to another event, you will be charged an additional £5 as an administration cost for processing the cancellation.
Q 8. What happens if the event is cancelled? A 8. Face-2-Face reserves the right to cancel an event or amend the date or venue under certain circumstances, for example, rescheduling an event due to insufficient participants for that particular date. Face-2-Face reserves the right to cancel the event up until and including the day of the event. Participants will be refunded in full or offered a transfer to another date. Please note that additional expenses will not be refunded. |
