How does it work? 

There are approximately 20 men and 20 women at each event. On arrival you will be greeted by the host/hostesses and allocated a number. You will then receive a speed dating scorecard and badge.

Once all participants have arrived the host/hostesses will give you instructions on how the night will proceed, as well as answering any questions. You will then be asked to take your seats, with the women remaining seated for the evening, while the men rotate clockwise every three minutes when the bell rings. After each date you will receive an extra minute to tick 'Yes' or 'No' on your scorecard next to the number of the person you have been talking to, as an indication that you would like to exchange contact telephone numbers with that person.

Your card will be handed in at the end of the event, at which point you can have an optional drink and mingle at the bar.

How will i know if i get any matches?

A match is when both yourself and another participant's scorecard responses are 'yes'. For example participant number 7 ticked 'yes' for participant number 10, and number 10 also ticked 'yes' for number 7. All those who get a match will be contacted within 48 hours by text or E-mail with their matches first name and telephone number. This will enable them to contact each other if they wish.

How long does the Speed-Dating event last?

Approximately between two and two and a half hours.

Is there a dress code?

No, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. However, remember that first impressions do count in Speed-Dating.

What are the age ranges?

We organise events for all age groups.  Many companies do not cater for over 50's as we do. Infact age 50+ Speed-Dating evenings are in great demand and prove very popular. Age ranges are decided prior to each event according to demand.

How strict are the age ranges?

They are just a guideline and are flexible to some extent. However, if you are well outside an age range it may reduce your chances of finding a match.
